The King of Cool, Germany, and The Ten Commandments

Why all this business with Steve McQueen? I don’t know, but I can’t seem to make myself stop.

Apparently, they haven’t forgotten the King of Cool in Germany. I'm not trying to say he's David Hasselhoff, but they haven’t forgotten him. The following factoid comes from Bluesfrau over in Germany.

Steve McQueen wrote the screenplay for The Ten Commandments.

the screen play is already in the book of jubilees.. guess he would have taken the script from there and projected the story board...

Hey, cool, I've been quoted. You should fill in the rest though.

. . .if you look behind you and you have any ass left at all, then you ain't done writing.

Wow, who would have thunk it? Loved him best in the motorcycle scene in "The Great Escape".

Chronicwriter -
He was Steve McQueen. He could do anything.
Tahnks for stopping by.

BeFrank -
I'm afraid you've misquoted yourself.

Rick,
I thought he was at his coolest throwing the baseball against the wall.

Had to do some googling on that (your fascination with McQ fascinates me more than McQ). Apparently, Iris Burton dated McQ - and she starred in Cecil B DeMille's Ten Commandments.
'scuse my naiveness, but... Did McQ really write the screenplay? Or was that a joke? *puts innocent naive look on face*

Bluesfrau,
I'm just having fun with Steve McQueen. I don't think he wrote the Ten Commandments, but he should have.

Locke,
Thanks for having my back...

Lol - a screenplay I meant rather than the real thang. Nothing's impossible. After all McQ dated a girl who starred in the Ten Commandments. ^^

Bluesfrau,
You mean McQueen is responsible for the original Exodus Ten Commandments???
