The Arizona Justice League of Photographers in Old Town Scottsdale

The Arizona Justice League recently got together for an early Sunday morning shoot in Old Town Scottsdale.
Of course the Banana was there too.

Clif the Lawyer pointed out that this was an interesting piece of art. Too bad the artists got the letters backwards.

The banana was lurking. The banana is always lurking.

Can't tell you why, but I dig doors on old buildings.

I was playing Peter Pan, trying to catch my shadow.

Couldn't resist the white against the blue Arizona morning sky.

The green and blue was working for me too.

Anybody else ancient enough to remember Roy and Dale and Trigger?

"In the name of everything that's good Clif, get the hell out of there!"

Cowabunga!

Hey #167 Dad, thanks for following my blog. Can I just say that I love that you have that quote from The Cowboys in your sidebar? I grew up on John Wayne movies and The Cowboys is my favorite one. I used to be able to quote entire sections of it and the part where all the boys get drunk and then have to drink ipecac never stopped being funny.

What a harvest! Lots of good pictures here. The Singing Cowboy? You kidding? I even remember Bullet. And i bet i am one of the last lucky ones on earth that remember Nellybelle :P
The Shadow knows! Seems you catch it "on film" or whatever hocus "focus" the cameras use today (talking about the shadow. Right?).
Don't worry about that big love piece of art. Snob artists. Y'know? They want you to believe that they are deep, maaan! The Duke would never aprove this. Neither the color neither the backward stuff ;)
And well, Big Banana is here, it means we are in Snyder country. Happy trails to you, 'till we meeeeet aaaaagain!

Angfla,
The Cowboys is my favorite Marion Michael Morrison movie. How's that for alliteration? Really dug the seen in which Roscoe Lee Brown stood up to the Duke.
Looking forward to following.

I'm so old, I was in love with Roy Rogers. I did grow out of that, however, I so wanted to ride Trigger.

Looks like a grand time - even for the banana.

The Shadow picture is beautiful! It's sincere fun catching one's own shadow. :)
Thanks for the impressions. Hope you'll keep it up. Your part of the world looks very different from my part of the world. I'm always curious.

There is no escape from the Hoosiers! The LOVE sculpture is by Robert Indiana, who was born Robert Clark in Newcastle, Indiana in 1928.

Happy trails to you.

#167 Dad said...

Thanks Blues,
I've always been intrigued by shadows.

#167 Dad said...

Didn't know that.
You Hoosiers have made your marks, no doubt.
Too bad the guy got the darned letters backwards
